What separates Jay-Z and Kanye West from other rappers? Before this album, Great lyrics and great points being made. It inspired you, it made you take account of what was being said. After this album? Well… its the same drivel that comes from any rapper from any other colour, creed or religion. All i hear is endless ‘brags’ and ‘strung out suggestions’ that i am witnessing the greatest music ever to hit my skull candy. I can assure you that it is not. If your a Big Jay-Z and West fan (as I am) dont let this album into your itunes or your ears. 

After an incredibly promising start from the intro- ‘No Church In the Wild’ it melds into an appearance from Beyonce, which is incredibly forgettable. On the third track i found myself chuckling at the lyrics which stank of irony and superiority until i heard the cut skit of someone saying, ‘He’s being provokotive’ Are you having a laugh??? The only thing this album made me do is turn it off after track one. This trend continued only to be drowned out by some really good beats which are so loud its hard to hear either man- which is a plus.

Fantastic in their own right, they have some big making up to do in the next outing for these fading stars.
